                    Rex Allen Days begins with a Cowboy Hall of Fame Dinner, on Thursday, October 3, at 6 p.m. Once the largest range cattle rail shipping point in the US, earning Willcox the title of “Cattle Capital of the World”, it’s fitting that the people of Willcox have a Cowboy Hall of Fame to honor their town and those who helped build it. Inductees to the Hall of Fame must have lived in the Willcox area for at least 30 years and should generate a major portion of their income from the livestock industry. The $40 per plate dinner is served at the Willcox Elks Lodge #2131, 247 E Stewart St. Tickets for the dinner are on sale at Maid Rite Feeds, 225 S. Railroad Ave.The Midway West Amusement Carnival arrives at Keiller Park, 500 N Bisbee Ave., 4 -11 p.m. $20 advance tickets for the carnival can be purchased at La Unica Restaurant, Strong Hold Feeds, Sierra Lumber, Maid Rite Feeds, Dos Cabezas Coffee Shop, Rex Allen Museum, R&R Pizza, and Plaza Fuel/Convenience Store.
Friday, October 4, begins with a gun show at the Willcox Community Center at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The entry fee is $9 for adults, 12 and under are free.
The carnival at Keiller Park continues at 4 p.m., along with a Country Fair of vendors, food, and live music. For more information or to be a vendor, email [email protected]
On Saturday, October 5, the party continues at Keiller Park with the WASA Car Show beginning at 10 a.m. Country Fair begins at the same time, with vendors, food, and live music at the band shell, and the carnival starts up again on Saturday at 4 p.m.
Downtown, the Gun Show the community center will run until 5 p.m.
A tradition within a tradition, the Rex Allen Days Parade starts at 10 a.m. Saturday. There’s still time to enter one of the county’s finest parades. The theme this year is "Home Sweet Home.”
Quail Park Rodeo Grounds becomes the center of all things rodeo, beginning at 8 a.m. with Rodeo Team Roping Slack, and Junior Rodeo/Pre-Rodeo at 11 a.m.
GCPRA Rex Allen Rodeo 2 - 5 p.m. General admission rodeo tickets are $15, $12 for Military, Seniors & 1st Responders with valid ID. $12 Ages 6-12 and under 6 are free.
On Sunday, October 6, the gun show continues 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. downtown at the community center.
Keiller Park rises to a 10:30 a.m. to Cowboy Church. The County Fair goes until 2 p.m., while the carnival runs until 10 p.m.
AT Quail Park Rodeo Grounds Rodeo Slack and Team Roping begins at 8 a.m. Junior Rodeo and Pre-Rodeo 11:00 a.m. The Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association Rex Allen Days Rodeo runs 2 - 5 p.m.
The non-profit RAD is funded through sponsors and events. Arizona G&T Cooperatives, Northern Community Hospital, Big Tex Bar-B-Que, Double S Steak House, Cochise County Farmers Association, Cochise Credit Union, Western States Pullers, are among its sponsors this year.
