Getting married comes with a script. Not just the ceremony script, but the cultural one.
What you’re “supposed” to do.
What a wedding is “supposed” to look like.
What people think matters most.
This event is about slowing all of that down.
Together, we’ll talk about the traditional wedding ceremony script, where those traditions come from, and how LGBTQ+ couples and nontraditional couples rewrite the script to create ceremonies that feel authentic, meaningful, and accessible.
This is not a snooty wedding workshop and not just for people planning big weddings.
It’s a relaxed, supportive conversation designed for:
• LGBTQ+ couples
• newly engaged folks who feel overwhelmed
• people planning small, budget-conscious, or nontraditional weddings
• anyone who wants meaning without pressure
You do not need to have anything figured out to attend. You don’t need a venue, a date, or a vision board.
Some people charge for workshops like this.
I’m offering it for free because supporting my local LGBTQ+ community with wedding education, access, and permission to do things differently is part of my mission.
