Wildskin is sparking conversations, and we’re inviting you to join the discussion! In partnership with Southern Cross University, NORPA presents a thought-provoking panel featuring Professor Spongberg (Southern Cross University) and Northern Rivers creatives including Charlotte Haywood, Jade Dewi Tyas Tunggal, and Heather Fairbairn. Together, they’ll explore how creativity, power, and responsibility come alive in their work, with a focus on ‘rewilding’ in contemporary art and performance.
This panel delves into the intersection of theatre, performance, creative ecology, and the impact of female-led creativity. Through this discussion, we’ll explore women’s roles, expectations, dreams, and aspirations - powerful themes that Wildskin’s creatives have engaged with in deeply meaningful ways. The combination of artistic insight and academic perspective promises a rich, honest, and intellectually stimulating conversation.
Professor Mary Spongberg is speaking with some of the female creatives on the show’s thematic exploration of women’s issues through the design disciplines:
Charlotte Haywood, Set & Costume Designer
Jade Dewi Tyas Tunggal, Movement Director and Performer
Heather Fairbairn, Associate Director
