About this Event
Join us for our first ever Rewilding Rangers session – our new kids holiday nature club! This easter we’ll be building a bug hotel and getting stuck into lots of bug-themed activities. From bumblebees to beetles, worms to ants, bugs are super important in nature. Building a bug hotel helps provide a place for lots of different bugs to find shelter and a home!
The session is aimed at primary school aged children but younger/older siblings are welcome to join too. A parent/ carer must stay throughout the whole session.
Please note that parking is only available at the Luncarty Memorial Hall (15-20 minute walk). A member of staff will be at the Hall at 9.30am to walk with you to Denmarkfield. If this walk would be an issue for you or your family, please get in touch (laurie@denmarkfield.co.uk) so we can discuss alternative access options. There is bicycle parking available at the allotment and you are more than welcome to cycle and meet us at the allotment.
The session is free but there is a suggested donation of £3 per child. All donations go towards the work of our small charity, including running educational sessions like this one.
Hot chocolate and a biscuit will be provided. Sturdy footwear or wellies and waterproofs are recommended!
