Join NCWF Tri-County Conservationists Chapter for a Rewilding Oases workday at Brumley! Native species and habitats in Brumley Nature Preserve have been pushed out by invasive species like privet, multiflora rose, and autumn olive. Walnut Grove Loop is a lovely area of Brumley South, shaded by many large native trees. Most of the big invasives have been removed (especially privet). Now we are establishing Rewilding Oases, where volunteers will focus their efforts on restoring native species. At this event, we will erect fencing. Help us restore habitat for wildlife in Chapel Hill!Date/Time: Saturday, November 15th from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Brumley South (parking details can be found in the sign up below)
