About this Event
In this workshop, we will dive into explorations of various kinds of nature writing. We will evoke landscape, describe place, and explore how the practice of writing can be a tool to deepen our relationship with the natural world. As a group we will look at ways to approach writing about the natural world with hope and wonder even as we cope with grief.
Participants will learn about the history of the genre of nature writing, investigate various tools for observation and documentation, and use in-class creative prompts to practice different ways of looking at and writing about the outside world.
This class is open to all who want to explore creativity through nature. Prior writing experience is not necessary. Registration is required.
