Rewild your Soul at Booderee National Park and set yourself free to play and explore in this most gorgeous place!Come and snorkel at the beautiful Murray's Beach in Jervis Bay. If the water visibility is good, expect to see lots of fish, small sharks and rays and wonderful sea forest.
Then we will have a picnic and short bushwalk to see some amazing views. There is some chance of seeing some whales, but most of the migration has already passed by.
The snorkeling is off the beach and around the rocks at the eastern end of Murray's Beach. It's pretty sheltered and suitable for beginner snorkelers and the more experienced alike.
This event will start with a welcome circle and a short meditation. I aim to share a space that invites openness, connection and fun.
The beach is about 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Wollongong and there is a $20 park entry charge per vehicle. Ride sharing is recommended - bring a friend!
We will postpone is the weather is too windy or rainy, but at this stage the forecast looks great.
We will meet in the car park closest to Murray's Beach. It is a turnoff to the right as you get near to the boat ramp. There are toilets and an outdoor shower.
There is about 500m to walk from the car park to the beach.
If you are not keen on snorkeling, feel free to come for a swim, walk and picnic.
