ReWalk Segment 20 of the InspiralLondon – Crystal Palace to Eltham Station

Meet 9.30am at just outside the exit of Crystal Palace Station.

Join inspirallondon on at the start of this epic day of rewalking – from Crystal Palace to north of the river at Woolwich.

Starting with this morning walk on Segment 20 from Crystal Palace Station to Eltham Station.

We leave Crystal Palace overground Station and traverse the Dinosaur Park before making our way south eastwards to Cator Park, crossing the Chaffinch Brook. Then we walk quickly to Beckenham Place Park, with all its resonances and beauty. Leaving the oakwoods we cross the Ravensbourne river to make our walk north east to Grove Park. From their we pick up the scent of Quaggy River as it guides us towards Eltham Palace and lunch stop at Eltham.

In 2015 an intrepid group of walking artists finished mapping a new spiral trail, tracing a pathway through 30 London Boroughs. As we near the trails 10th anniversary InspiralLondon invites new communities, individuals, and groups to re-discover their city through this unique inspiralling walk. During this year, 2024 and into 2025, we will re-walk, and re-tell, the story of this 300 mile trail as we re-spiral through London. For further events visit HERE
