About this Event

All around us, history is hidden in plain sight - not just in museum collections, but in buildings, landscapes, and letters hidden in dusty attics. Lexington History Museums recently endeavored to tell a selection of stories of the Battle of Lexington through unexpected means, resulting in our unique guidebook ! Join some of our local historian book contributors to hear some of the tales we uncovered, from musketballs pried from centuries-old battlefields, to the correspondence of the British military command, and learn more about how historians use primary sources to humanize history and combat misinformation.
