In conjunction with the release of Ken Burns’ documentary The American Revolution: An Intimate History, join musician and historian James Linden Hogg, along with his father, Jim, for an unforgettable afternoon of revolutionary music and more! Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 2 to 6 PM at the EBR Main Library on Goodwood (Baton Rouge, LA). James will showcase a variety of musical instruments, sing, and share stories that transport audiences back to the founding of our republic. The sounds of the fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, piano, penny-whistle, and bagpipes will fill the auditorium. He will perform two musical sets and deliver a lecture on the roots of American music.
