About this Event
This program is presented by the National Park Service and Boston Harbor Now as a part of our three-part Revolutionary Harbor lecture series. This lecture is the first of the series.
In the aftermath of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, Bunker Hill’s strategic location along on a small peninsula of land at the convergence of the Charles River, the Mystic River, and Boston Harbor, and its proximity to Boston, drew the attention of the British forces who occupied Boston.
As we approach the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill, we invite you to join National Park Service ranger Savannah Rose as she explores how Boston Harbor helped to shape the Battle of Bunker Hill.
