Fusion Dance is freestyle partner dancing. Our dancers come from many different backgrounds: swing, salsa, blues, zouk, ballroom and more. All experience levels are welcome. Lead follow is optional.
Although we don't mandate style or footwork or role, we do insist on consent and comfort!
In fusion dancing there is no such thing as "doing it wrong," barring consent and safety issues. This technical and stylistic freedom is ideal for encouraging completely personal artistic journeys.
Many fusion dancers over the years have found fusion an ideal place to explore the technical overlap of our common social dances, and this is a common starting point for fusion instruction and an endpoint for many experienced dancers
