The Museum of the American Revolution and the Free Library of Philadelphia are excited to partner on a new program at libraries across the city, Revolution at the Library! Aimed at participants of the LEAP library program and their families, Revolution at the Library! will feature fun and curiosity-provoking object-, document-, and story-based activities that will bring the people and events of the American Revolution to life.
At Donatucci, sign up and join us at the library on Tuesdays July 19 & 26 and on Saturday, July 30, we will go on a field trip to the museum!
We will go behind the scenes with museum staff to discover cool artifacts from the past and hear the exciting stories they can tell us. In this workshop, we’re going to learn all about archaeology and the thousands of objects we discovered under the museum....in an 18th-century toilet! Find out what these objects reveal about the people who once lived in our revolutionary neighborhood.
