To mark International Women's Day 2023, we will be joining Women's Banner Group and LGBT Northern Social Group for an event to recognise women is struggle - from the picket lines to the streets. For too long, IWD has focused on the achievements and the liberation of a select few. Join us in celebrating those grass roots, rank and file activists fighting in their communities, their work places and internationally.
The Brinkburn St Brewery, Bar and Kitchen is fully accessible and child friendly until close. Pay what you feel on the door, but free entry will be given to striking workers.
Starting from 5pm for speakers and stalls.
From 7.30pm we will have live music from the amazing Slalom D and In Evil Hour, with a DJ from 10pm.
