This is just 1 of my eco-friendly workshops on becoming more sustainable, using existing items of clothing or textiles you already have in the home.
Far too many textiles go to waste and landfill…and those of you who know me well know I love to cut up and reuse clothing items and make them into something completely new! You can even use the technique to repair, decorate or just give a bit of colour to something.
I will teach you an applique technique called ‘reverse’ appliqué, using scrap fabrics we can decorate or repair that hole or stain on an existing item you have or just create a piece to use at a later date. You can use either hand sewing techniques or bring your sewing machine to apply decorative stitches.
2-hr workshop 10-12 on Saturday 3rd May 2025.
Cost is £20pp with a 50% non-refundable deposit to book your place.
