Join us for this one-day intensive program to learn more about the latest emerging therapies for Rett syndrome, the current status of clinical trials and what you can do to help keep someone with Rett syndrome well until treatment is available.
Reverse Rett’s first LEAP Education Day will take place on Saturday 1st June at The Brooklyn Hotel in Manchester. Our goal is to take families and caregivers of people with Rett through a comprehensive program of information about emerging therapies for Rett syndrome.
Throughout the day, we’ll be hearing from key leaders in the UK Rett field as well as industry partners from across the pond sharing updates on current gene therapy trials as well as best practises in keeping someone with Rett syndrome safe and healthy until disease-modifying treatments become available.
Located right in the heart of the city, the Brooklyn Hotel is a new hotel right which has the largest number of accessible rooms including two with hoisting facilities in Manchester.
Registration for this conference is free with lunch and refreshments provided.
There will be a limited allocation of funded accommodation on the Friday evening for families/caregivers who meet the following criteria:
· Usual residence more than 2 hours from Manchester
· Lack of funded accommodation would mean the family were otherwise unable to attend

Children with Rett syndrome and their siblings are welcome to attend the LEAP day. There will not be formal childcare offered however, there will be appropriate space in the conference room as well as a breakout room for families to use as needed.
Appropriate personal care facilities will also be provided on site for individuals who require hoisting facilities.
