Reverse Reality - an inverted colour paint workshop by Jasmine Lockett

Bring your own photos and create an inverted painting that changes under the magic of an inverted filter in this painting workshop.
About this Event

In this fun painting workshop with artist Jasmine Lockett, you will create a painting inspired by photographs whose colours have been inverted. As part of this workshop you’ll learn about colour mixing and colour theory. At the end of the session you’ll have an image that can be changed to realistic colours by viewing it through a camera filter.

You can bring a colour photograph on a phone or device with you, or Jasmine will have some reference images available for use.

This project is part of a commission awarded by St Helens Council's Arts Service. This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority and part funded through Arts Council England. We will work in partnership with St Helens Borough Council, Kindred LCR CIC, St Helens College, and St Helens Borough creative practitioners from December 2024 to March 2025.
