Reverie Theater Company Presents: The Revolutionists at the historic Tarlton Theatre!
The Revolutionists is a bold, funny, and urgent play by Lauren Gunderson that imagines four extraordinary women during the French Revolution: playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Charlotte Corday, former queen Marie Antoinette, and revolutionary Marianne Angelle, as they clash over art, politics, and survival while racing to write a manifesto that could change history. Witty and emotionally charged, the play celebrates the power of womenโs voices in times of upheaval.

The Tarlton Theatre offers complimentary parking at the paved lot located immediately to the west of the theatre at 100 South Chestnut Avenue. Parking spaces marked "The Tarlton Theatre" are reserved for theatre guests only. Free parking is also available on South Broadway, South Chestnut Avenue, and Howard Street, but we caution our guests against parking their vehicles overnight.
