an Introduction to Jyotisha (Vedic Astrology)
Jyotisha (also known as Vedic Astrology or Eastern Astrology) is a form of astrology that dates to maybe 7,000 years BCE.
The root word of Jyotisha is Jyoti, which means light. Jyotisha is the science of light and how the Light of Consciousness rises up in each of us uniquely and divinely.
In this introductory workshop, I will share with you the 27 archetypal energies (Nakshatras), that impress upon us at the time of our birth. At our first breath, the wheel of karma activated and we aligned with these archetypal energies, creating a unique profile or blueprint called…you.
In this workshop, we will explore these 27 Nakshatras as well as (time permitting) lightly touch upon the “Unfolding of Karma” over the lifetime. You’ll leave with wonder and curiosity as we explore these foundational elements of Jyotisha.
