About this Event
Come visit for a day or make it a weekend. Campers may arrive any time after 10:00 AM on Friday. Camping is primitive: no potable water or electric. Generators are allowed. RVs, LQs, and vans are welcome. Big-rig friendly. Water is available for horses. Two 6-rail, 12x12, metal pipe stalls are available for rent for your campsite. Day use visitors may arrive after 9:00 AM on Saturday or Sunday. Well behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. The charity picnic will be Saturday at 1:00 PM. A $10 donation is recommended. Ranger-led tram rides in the park run from 10 AM to 4 PM. Bring your kayak and enjoy some creek time. Bring your bike or horse and enjoy some major trail time. The park has 60+/- miles of service roads and blazed trails for your use.

MEMBERSHIP DUES FOR NEW AND RETURNING MEMBERS ARE $20/YEAR FOR INDIVIDUALS AND $30/YEAR FOR FAMILIES. Membership entitles the cardholder to one free entry to park per month for a year, FREE entry to members-only events like this one, discounted entry to classes and events, and, for those who wish, service opportunities including nature-based workdays led by park rangers, assisting with events and serving on the board of directors to assist with fundraising and management and planning meetings.
