Returning Fire to the Landscape Workshop

Come learn about the importance of fire within ecosystems from Cuauhtemoc Villa, biochar and composting expert! Participants will learn how to create a microbial rich biochar and prepare a “compost tea” of Effective Microorganisms (EM). The techniques taught in this workshop can be applied to home gardens, and participants are encouraged to bring a bottle to take a sample of the “compost tea” so they can start their own home composting system.
