Event Date: 1st Mar 2025 (Saturday Night)
Amateur & Novice Users can also join and take opportunity to know the Night Sky and observe some of the deep sky objects like Planets, Nebulae's, Galaxies, Globular Cluster, Open Clusters, Double Stars and off course our Milky Way Galaxy etc.. no prior knowledge of astronomy is necessary for them. Night Sky Orientation will be provided during the Event.
Event Schedule:
Participants are requested to reach the campsite by 5:30 pm.
5:30 - 6:30 pm – Event Registration, Selfie Photos, Group Photo Session & Snacks.
6:30 pm - Sunset
6:00 - 7:00 pm – Session 1 – Introduction Session - Familiarize with Site and Equipment’s. Observe Evening Sky, Venus, Saturn and Satellite Tracking (if Any)
7:30 – 8:30 pm – Session 2 – Astronomy Video Presentation (45 Minutes)
8:30 -- 9:30 pm - Night Sky Orientation - Finding the North Star - Cassiopeia/Ursa Major, Andromeda Galaxy, Orion Nebula, Pleiades Star Cluster, Double Stars, Jupiter with 4 Moons & Red Planet Mars
9:30 – 10:30 pm – Dinner Time
10:30 – 11:30pm – Session 3 – Night Sky Observation Constellations, Star Clusters, Andromeda Galaxy, Orion Nebula and Double Stars
11:30 – 12:30 am – General Observation and Discussion, Music Session & Camp Fire
1:00 – 4:00 am – Power Nap – Charge Yourself and Camera/Tablet/Mobile Batteries
4:30 - 4:30 am – Wake-up with Tea
4:30 – 6:00 am – Session 4 – Early Morning Sky, Satellite Hunting & other objects
6:30 am - Sunrise
7:00 – 7:30 am – Breakfast / Tea and Group Photo
8:00 am - Event Closure

What’s included in Charges

What’s not included in Charges:
• Anything not mentioned in the included list.
• Bedsheet, Blanket and Pillow (Bring your own additional).
Note: In case of the Cloudy Sky, Event will not be cancelled and will continue with Campfire Activities, Audio-Video and Enjoy Cold Weather.
Instructions and Pointers:
1. ID Proof: Carry a valid ID proof (e.g., PAN Card, Driving License) for on-site camp registration.
2. Warm Clothing: Bring adequate warm clothing to protect your ears, body, and feet. Items to include: scarf, sweaters, hooded jackets, skull caps, shawls/sheets, and closed shoes (mandatory). Night temperatures may dip to 16-18°C.
3. Bedding: Tents with soft bedding will be provided on a sharing basis. If you are not accustomed to cold climates, carry a personal bedsheet, blanket, and pillow.
4. Snacks and Water: Carry light snacks (biscuits, chips, chocolates) and a personal ½-liter water bottle (mandatory). Stay hydrated to avoid dehydration.
5. Torch: Bring a small torch covered with red cellophane paper, along with extra batteries.
6. Medication and Repellent: Carry personal medications (if any) and mosquito repellent cream (e.g., Odomos).
7. Waterproofing Baggage: Wrap your baggage in plastic bags to prevent them from getting wet due to dew.
8. Astrophotography: Participants interested in astrophotography should bring their DSLR camera, tripod, remote, charger, and extra batteries.
9. Belongings: Organizers are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. Avoid carrying gold and other valuable ornaments.
10. Cleanliness: Littering at the campsite is strictly prohibited. Garbage bins will be available for proper waste disposal.
Rules and Regulations:
While at the camp-site you (Participants) are requested to strictly adhere to the following rules:
11. Registration: Prior registration is mandatory for all participants.
12. Camp-Site Security: The campsite is partially fenced. Do not wander off without informing or obtaining permission from the organizers.
13. Tent Use: Use tents and equipment with care. Any damages will be charged at ₹500 per participant per tent.
14. Torch Usage: Use white torches minimally and ensure they are covered with red cellophane paper during night hours.
15. Respect Belongings: Respect the belongings of others. Damaging tents or articles will result in penalties.
16. Camera Flash and Mobile Use: Minimize the use of camera flashes and mobile phones during observation sessions as instructed by the organizers.
17. Observation Etiquette: Avoid flashing bright torches or using camera flashes on others during observation. Human eyes take 30 minutes to adapt to the dark night sky.
18. Personal Equipment: If carrying your own observation instruments (e.g., telescopes, binoculars, DSLR cameras), you are solely responsible for their safety.
19. Prohibited Activities: Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited at the campsite. Drunken participants will be expelled immediately.
20. Organizer's Rights: The organizers reserve the right to expel participants violating the rules.
Cancellation Policy
• 75% refund if notified via phone conversation 8 or more days prior to the event date.
• 50 % refund if notified via phone conversation 4 to 7 days days prior to the event date.
• No refund if the cancellation requested is less than 3 days prior to the event date
• No show No Refund.
• Event Booking cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.
• Event Booking can be transferred to another person for same day event with prior advance intimation.
• If the event gets canceled we will refund "Star Gazing Event Charges" only.
• If the event is canceled due to any natural calamity, political unrest or other such reasons beyond our control the same cancellation policy will apply.
• As applicable based on cancellation policy terms refund will be processed post Event Completion Date tentative within 5 Working Days.

** No refund on cancellation & postponed of shows.
