About this Event
Join us for a night of fabulous food, music, dancing, and fundraising — all in support of Act4Africa, helping empower women and children in Uganda. Guests will enjoy a fun retro disco, dinner, and an exciting charity auction and raffle packed with amazing prizes.
At the heart of Act4Africa’s work is Kathy’s Centre in Mayuge — a safe, welcoming community hub that provides early years education for 3 – 6 year olds, healthcare support, and vocational training for vulnerable mums and their children. The charity’s mission is to break the cycle of poverty by empowering families with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to build brighter futures for their families.
Our goal from this event is to raise a minimum of £15,000 to purchase a minibus for Kathy’s Centre. This will enable children and mothers from remote, impoverished villages to travel safely to school and classes — something many of us take for granted, but which is life-changing for them.
