‘Resurrection’ formed for their love of The Stone Roses, back in 1998 in Glasgow, Scotland. Since then they have toured with two original members of The Stone Roses (Aziz & Mani), shared the stage with the likes of Clint Boon & Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), and built a nationwide fanbase, including celebrities from the likes of Primal Scream, The Smiths, Shed 7, Death In Vegas and more.
The band performed live on BBC Ireland’s ‘The 11th Hour’ music show & STV News aired a 10 minute exclusive on the band hosted by music journalist & radio presenter Billy Sloan.
'Resurrection' have also performed live for Sky News to coincide with the release of new Stone Roses material.
They're mentioned in the books of Ian Brown, John Robb's ‘The Stone Roses’ and also The Stone Roses book titled ‘War & Peace. The band have also featured in NME, Melody Maker, Q Magazine (Alex James column – Blur), The Sunday Mail, The Daily Record, The Sun, The Irish Times, The Yorkshire Evening Press, The Evening News, The Big Issue North, Konnect Magazine amongst many more.
