Resume Writing

Overview: Are you back in the job market, or just in need of a resume tune-up? Do you need some tips on how to show-off your experiences and qualifications? Then join Northwest Family Services and WorkSource Clackamas for this free resume workshop!

We will go over the purpose of a resume, best writing practices, resume format & styles, types of resumes, and how to utilize other helpful tools such as AI platforms to write a successful resume.

This class will also allow for work time and an opptunity for one-on-one questions and writing assistance.

You are encouraged to bring your own laptop, but the center has desktops available to use during the class.

NOTE: Please come prepared with Information about your past work experience. Include job titles and duties; employer business names, city and state; start and end dates of employment. This will ensure that the class goes smoothly and you leave with a completed resume to use to apply and give to employers!
