Restore Mini-Retreat with Living Well Ayurveda
Life, work and the new year are coming at us fast, but guess what? We can slow it down — for a few hours at least. Join certified Ayurvedic counselor, yoga and meditation teacher, and Reiki master Melanie Warner Spencer of at ArtEgg studios for a half-day, guided mini-retreat to relax, restore and rest. This intimate, in-person, four-hour event will feature pranayama (breathwork), Dharana (meditation), restorative yoga asana (physical practice) and an Ayurvedic workshop (talk) session to help you connect to your true nature. Take this opportunity to reconnect with your inner self and leave feeling refreshed and renewed. This event, held in the studio of artist amid her lively and expressive artwork, is limited to 10 attendees, so don't wait to claim your spot.

How much does it cost?
This event is priced on a sliding scale to keep it affordable and inclusive. Many of us are struggling to even pay rent or the mortgage right now, so there also will be two free "scholarship" spots available on a first come first served basis. Email Melanie at [email protected] to claim one of the scholarship spots. Use the subject line "Free Spot." You do not need to explain why you are requesting a free ticket.
We are using the honor system since Eventbrite doesn't allow three different price points.
To pay for your ticket: Please choose the price that works best for your budget (see price points below) and type that amount into the "Donation" space.
Suggested Pricing:
- $45 - Things are a little tight
- $65 - I'm doing OK financially and this won't break the bank.
- $85 - I can afford to pay more to help subsidize offering this class to those who cannot
What's included?
- Pranayama (breathwork) session
- Dharana (meditation) session
- Light lunch (a vegetarian ayurvedic lentil stew with various toppings, whole grain chapati bread and herbal tea)
- Ayurvedic workshop/talk session
- Restorative yoga asana (physical practice)
What should I bring?
- Yoga mat: We will have two available to borrow, so bring one if you have it).
- Full water bottle(s): Stay hydrated and help us keep plastic out of the landfill by bringing water.
- Notebook and pen or pencil: For notes and reminders during the talk.
- Optional: Yoga blanket or big cozy scarf if you tend to get chilly.
- Optional: Yoga straps, blocks or other supports, but the asana (physical practice) portion will be designed to do without.
What should I wear?
- Yoga attire, athleisure wear, sweats, or any loose, comfortable clothing, even your jammies. This is a no-judgement zone, so please come as you are.
