Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow-paced practice that uses props to support the body in various poses, allowing for deep relaxation and release of tension. This practice can reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep quality, boost immune system function, and enhance flexibility and range of motion.
Meta meditation is a form of meditation that cultivates compassion and loving-kindness towards oneself and others. This practice can reduce negative self-talk and self-criticism, improve mood and emotional well-being, increase empathy and compassion, and enhance an overall sense of well-being.
Together, these two practices work synergistically to create a powerful sense of physical, mental, and emotional restoration and rejuvenation. Restorative yoga prepares the body for meditation, while Meta meditation enhances the relaxation response and cultivates compassion.
