About this Event
"In nature, nothing is perfect, and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they're still beautiful." - Alice Walker
Welcoming in the new year can bring about a myriad of emotions. Excitement, joy, enthusiasm as well as fear, stress, and uncertainty. Many of us may go into the year with new aspirations, goals, intentions and resolutions about ways we want to become better versions of ourselves. As we welcome newness, it's important that we also welcome moments of pause, gratitude, and appreciation for the brilliant humans we already are. Nature provides a perfect way for us to do that.
Ease into the new year with and through restorative practices in nature on January 4th, 2025, from 11 am - 3 pm at Sharon Woods Metro Park inside the Spring Hollow Lodge. This event will include gentle yoga, reflective dialogue and hiking in nature along with a catered meal from InJoy Meals.
This event is open to women and gender expansive people of color.
