Restorative yoga enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support your body. The main focus of Restorative Yoga is to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation through these relaxing poses, being completely supported by props, without strain or pain.Combined with the ancient method of Acupuncture, Kortney from Stony Plain Acupuncture will be placing needles in specific points to help support and nourish you, seeds for acupressure are also available to those who do not want to needles!
Infused with the healing power of essential OILS this class is meant to create a complete sense of calm and relaxation through the mind, body and soul!
To complement this practice Jodylee Wyldchyld will be joining us to share her gift of sound bowls. The sound bath throughout the practice improves energy and raises our vibrations. As the sound vibrations open, clear and balance chakras they release blocked energy. Some may experience deep healing but all will leave feeling refreshed and balanced.
Please arrive 10 minutes early and wear comfortable clothing with pant legs that can be pulled up to accommodate needle points!
