Have you ever wanted to learn how to perform or instruct restorative yoga using yoga props to your advantage?
Instructed by the playful, strong, and mindful Sonny Ali, this Restorative Training Session is intended to help improve your ability to practice and instruct Restorative Yoga sequences and help you become proficient in using yoga props for restorative yoga.
What is restorative yoga?
Similar to the slow-paced movements of yin yoga, restorative yoga is a meditative yoga practice that works to relax the mind and body through fully supported poses, or asanas, by using yoga props such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets.
Restorative Yoga is usually performed in a dimly lit or dark room to encourage students to tune in to the sensations of their bodies and quiet the mind for a meditative and fully relaxed presence.
