Sound supports the yoga experience and yoga supports the sound experience. We are bringing these two arts together for a greater and more positive outcome. While in this relaxed and aware state the harmonic tones and vibrations will cleanse recharge and balance the mind body and spirit. The yoga restorative poses will also help us find relaxation alignment and balance. Energetically emotionally and physically you may feel tension begin to slip away replaced by feelings of well-being and ease.
Nicole Schoeppner is a sound explorer who uses various instruments including gongs chimes stringed and crystal instruments. Nicole will create soothing harmonic sounds and gentle vibrations to encourage your mind and body to release and relax.
Mike Curtis will lead the restorative yoga so that we will be in positions conducive to the experience. He will lead us into about 12 different supported postures using bolsters blankets and blocks.
Leave this sound bath feeling more relaxed creative and connected to your true heart-centered self. Any pain tension or anxiety felt before the session may be greatly reduced.
Please try to arrive by about 3:45 or 3:50 so we can welcome you and help you get set up. If for some reason you experience any problems trying to sign up don't worry--we can do it at the door.
