Using gentle, even paced movement and breath RESTORATIVE Yoga helps restore the balance of the body-mind connection by settling the nervous system, balancing the energy of your day, and returning the body to a state of ease. Practice could include gentle krama (steps) movement and/or longer supported holds (Yin) to facilitate restoration for mind, body and spirit. Yin, as a discipline uses extended pauses in heavily propped restorative poses to restore the connective tissues, joints, and the mind-body connection. No experience required. Safe for most. Adaptations offered as needed for those with high anxiety, hyper-mobility, or other needs.
