About this Event
Join Voicing The Void at the Imagine Festival on March 26 for a truly transformative session of restorative storytelling, bringing together some of the most marginalised communities in Belfast.
This event will provide a platform for individuals to share their stories and experiences, empowering them to speak truth to power.
We will showcase a series of short films produced with victims and survivors of serious crime, highlighting their campaign The Right to Be Heard, which advocates for the inclusion of victims’ voices in the justice process.
We will also hear from individuals seeking international protection, who will share their personal journeys and the work they’ve been doing to foster empathy and understanding across divided communities.
Additionally, young people deemed at risk and members of the LGBTQI+ community will provide insight into their experiences and the challenges they face. This is a unique opportunity for these often unheard voices to be amplified.
The event will feature a panel discussion, where local politicians, community leaders, and participants will come together to engage in meaningful dialogue and answer questions from the audience.
Don’t miss this chance to be part of an important conversation that challenges the status quo, promotes healing, and advocates for inclusion, understanding, and action.
