Join Gretchen for a fall mini retreat. Treat yourself to an extended restorative yoga practice. Enjoy slow and simple movement to move energy through the body, followed by meditation and variations of breathwork, and guided journal prompts . This will create a peaceful slow down into restorative yoga, yoga nidra, and savasana.
Restorative yoga is a practice of slowing down into passive stretches. There is very little movement. Poses are held with the support of props such as eye pillows, blankets, bolsters, blocks, essential oils, and calming music. We turn the lights down, to reduce distraction and stimulation. We get comfy!
When we allow the mind and body to slow down in deep relaxation, we can help reset and restore our nervous system. This allows the body to heal, reduce stress hormone levels, improve sleep, improve mood, a boost to your immune system and overall well being.
