Resonate & Mystical Sobriety Ecstatic Dance are excited to bring you this magical collaboration, an evening of connection, community and fun!Ecstatic dance is an opportunity to free the mind of thoughts and judgements and surrender to the body's innate wisdom. From this space of body awareness, we invite all parts of ourselves to be danced in a ceremony of movement!
This is a free form, sober, conscious dance. We maintain social silence on the dance floor to hold a sacred container for transformation at a deeper level. No prior dance experience necessary, all movement styles welcome.
We also ask that you honor the boundaries of yourself, others and the space. If you would like to dance with someone, please ask and receive consent. To decline a request you can simply respond with a prayer-handed bow.
Kelli Joy will open with a breathwork & embodiment exercise. DJ Quantum Heart and the Resonate drummers will create an ecstatic musical experience to get our bodies moving, our hearts opening, and our spirits connecting.
We invite you to bring snacks to share on the abunDance table.
There will be cacao elixirs available for purchase (Venmo or Cash).

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get parked & settled in if you want to be present for the opening circle.

-Journal and pen if things arise during your ecstatic journey
-Snack to share with community
What to wear:
-Comfy clothes that you can move in and make you feel good.
Plenty of parking in the back. Follow your GPS directions for 134 Elm St, Cheshire, CT. Once you pull into the driveway, drive down the little hill to the back of the building. Park closer to the building. Walk passed Re-Read Bookstore on your left until you see the big staircase. Go up the stairs and make a u-turn and you will see the double glass doors. If you need a handicapped accessible entrance, contact us and we can explain where to park. See you there!
