Join us for an evening of meditation and music led by Nkechi Deanna Njaka, a neuroscientist, artist and meditation guide, with live music from songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Tauwoo.
RESONANCE is an immersive experience that cultivates presence, being in the moment, listening, seeing and feeling with real-time awareness. By harnessing the power of mindfulness meditation and music, we're able to access profoundly complex emotions, discover new thoughts and ideas, and meet ourselves exactly as we are in this hour long guided mediation practice.
Join us in person at SHACK15 from 7pm-8pm. Please bring your own mat and arrive 15 mins before 7pm to settle down and set up.
About Nkechi Njaka
Nkechi Deanna Njaka is a neuroscientist, choreographer, artist and mindfulness meditation practioner. Nkechi has spent the majority of her life investigating the relationship between the brain and the body and has always felt the significance of their integration. Through her research, study and practice, she discovered that mindfulness and creativity are C R U C I A L for sustaining individual and global wellbeing. She is also a lululemon ambassador for her work in mindfulness. She lives and creates in SF.
About Tauwoo
As a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Tauwoo dives deeply into the emotive world that a song or vibe has to offer. His sound is diverse drawing inspiration from West African, Middle Eastern, and Indian rhythms as well as bands like Radiohead, Photay, Anderson Paak, Bonobo, and Patrick Watson. He loves collaborations with other creatives and strives to express an emotion in its purest form be it for a brand, a film, or my personal work.
