Kate, the eldest daughter of the owner of Katty Candles and More studio, will be leading a short lecture on the endless possibilities of working with resin as well as resin safety. Following this there will be a workshop where students will paint pre-molded resin shaker bases, seal them with resin, fill them with a variety of "bits", seal the bits inside, and fill with liquid (or leave dry). You'll learn tips and tricks when combining epoxy with UV resin, painting resin, how to fix mistakes, the dos and don't of what materials you can use in resin as well as what you need in terms of space and start-up costs.
At the end you'll head home with two resin shaker charms which that you made into your choice of jewelry, hair barrettes, phone holds, or keychain(s).
