Join Ashley from Resinate Within for a comprehensive resin workshop! Clients will learn the fundamentals of resin, including products and materials, proper mixing techniques, colorants, and additives. The class will cover the use of acrylic paints, alcolol inks, and mica powders, as well as expert tips and techniques for achieving beautirul pours. All necessary materials will be provided, including resin, mixing supplies, pouring cups, colorants, and additives. Each participant will receive their own pre-prepped board to port on and take home.
The resin used requires a resting time of at least 10-12 hours before it can be handled, so, after the class the boards will be left untouched for the required time. Once cured, Ashley will perform a cleanup on the boards, removing excess resin, smoothing the sides and edges, and applying a light coat of food-grade mineral oil. Participants can collect their boards the following Friday, May 16th at Skyview Lodge between 6:00pm and 11:00pm. Detailed care instructions will be provided, and it is recommended to wait 21 days for the resin to fully cure before using the board.
All of the resin used is FDA certified to be food safe, non-toxic and BPA free.
