Join us for a fun filled day with Resin at our Christmas Decorations, Jewellery & Gifts workshop.Join us for this fun filled, festive workshop. There are so many choices of what you can make at our Resin Christmas Decorations, Gifts & Jewellery workshop that our photos are bursting ideas and there will be more to see on the day!
At this workshop you'll work with a fast-cure vegan non-toxic epoxy resin during the morning session and a UV faster cure resin during the afternoon session.
Learn how to embed botanicals within silicone moulds to create unique Christmas hanging decorations for your tree, door or to gift! For those who love a bit of Christmas sparkle experiment with coloured resin pigments, mica powders, eco glitters, foils and metal powders. Plenty of choice and colour themes along with stars, baubles, trees and other Christmas themed silicone moulds. Ribbons and finishing techniques will be added later once the resin has cured.
The afternoon session will be using the pre-mixed UV resin creating necklaces, earrings, keyrings, bookmarks, brooches or cufflinks.
The tutor will bring her homegrown/responsibly foraged hand-pressed/dried flowers for you to encase into the UV resin. The items will be made and finished within the afternoon session, gift boxes are provided so you can decide whether to squirrel these away for gifts or enjoy them yourself!
This fun filled day is suitable for beginners or those who have worked with resin before and are looking to expand their knowledge or resin collection!
Cost: £90 to include all materials, tea, coffee, mince pies and biscuits.
Please bring: lunch, glasses if you wear them, an apron and have long hair tied back.
NOTE: The Craft Barn is an old stone barn accessed via external stone steps with handrails and may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
