About this Event
This workshop will provide a general foundation and guide to resin art for beginners. We will focus specifically on the creation of resin art by using molds. Join this 2 hour friendly beginner workshop and learn how to make art with Resin!
Workshops are recommended for people ages 12 and over. Children under 12 years old are welcome with parent/guardian supervision. Please get a ticket for each person (incl. all children).
The workshop is pay what you can! Suggested $20 - $30 to support facilitator fees and supplies.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Rochelle Reonal is a multi-disciplinary pop-surrealist artist currently creating and teaching in Calgary Alberta. She graduated and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Manitoba in 2009. She is passionate about the rich power of the arts to create and grow community, and to bring meaning to the simplicity of everyday life. She believes in the simplicity of creating art which brings a sense of nostalgia to her work. These qualities are reflected in her own art and in her contributions to the grassroots arts community.

Alcove Centre for the Arts (alcoveartscentre.ca) is a non-profit organization based in Calgary, AB which aims to make art more accessible and promote a vibrant local arts industry. We curate and cultivate community art spaces for Calgarians to engage in art and creativity while building a platform for emerging local artists.
Alcove is a Recreational Art Space open to the public providing free art supplies and instruments to stimulate creativity. The space also acts as a gathering place for workshops, community events, and social meetups. Come visit and get creative!
