UNESCO and Nautilus, in partnership with Dona Bertarelli Philanthropy and the Schmidt Ocean Institute, will showcase the intersection of art and science as tools for education, awareness, and inspiration, aligning with UNESCO’s mandate to foster peace and sustainable development.
Join us in a global premiere for exhibitions at Art Basel Paris.
Tsunami: Sea Change for Resilience, featuring portraits by Matt Porteous and inspiring stories, commemorates the 20th anniversary of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.
Biodiversity: Through the Lens is a photography exhibition curated by Discover Earth, highlighting the breathtaking biodiversity of our planet.
Finally, at the UNESCO-Nautilus Lounge at the Grand Palais, artists Taiji Terasaki and Rebecca Rutstein explore the ocean through the lens of their experiences as Artists-at-Sea, aboard the Schmidt Ocean Institute’s research vessel Falkor (Too).
