About this Event
As we kick off Resiliency Week on Monday, February 3, join us for Verbal Intervention (VI) Training from 1 PM - 4 PM at the Cobb Family Advocacy Center.
Verbal Intervention (VI) Training is a condensed 3-hour program designed to prepare you to effectively identify, respond to, and prevent low-risk crisis behavior using non-restrictive intervention techniques. This focused training provides essential skills in de-escalation and communication, enabling your team to manage challenging situations safely and effectively without the need for physical intervention. The streamlined format ensures that you can quickly gain the necessary knowledge to maintain a supportive and secure environment.
6 CEU's available with completion of this training.
This event is for any partner or community member who would benefit from becoming trained in verbal intervention/crisis communication.
Thank you to our partner Westcare GA who supports us to provide this training.
