is proud to introduce "Resilience to Recover 2.0", a comprehensive disaster preparedness initiative aimed at equipping future healthcare professionals with critical emergency response skills.
Through a series of engaging sessions, field visits, and interactive activities, "Resilience to Recover 2.0", aims to enhance medical students’ capabilities in disaster triage, crisis management, and psychological first aid, ensuring a well-prepared healthcare response network.
Key Highlights of the event:
Phase 1:Hands-on disaster response training in Dhaka, equipping medical students with triage, crisis management, and psychological first aid skills.
📅 Date: 27 February 2025, Thursday
📍 Venue: GPB, Road 128, Gulshan 1, Dhaka 1212
🕣 Time: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
This phase 1 started by key experts and facilitated by professionals from ActionAid,WHO NCD&MH,BDRCS and trauma specialist doctors.

Phase 2:Field visits and funded scholarship Opportunity to visit high-risk disaster prone areas.
Field visits to high-risk areas will provide real-world exposure to disaster response and healthcare challenges.
Phase 3:To ensure lasting impact, trained participants will establish Sustainable Humanitarian Response Teams in 20+ medical colleges, ready to act in emergencies.
With BMSS and ActionAid's support, this initiative builds a nationwide medical disaster response network.
