Residual Groove is a five-piece funk/fusion band based out of Norwalk, CT that
brings a unique and transcendent energy to the stage and takes their audiences
on a transportive journey through time and space. Their ability to effortlessly shift
from one musical genre to the next and seamlessly transition between structured
songs and improvised jams is a testament to the band’s chemistry and ability to
push the boundaries of their sound.
Featuring brothers Previn Edwards (guitar/vox) & Kiran Edwards (keys/vox), Miles
Livolsi (bass), Henry Thomas (drums), and Garrett Halstead (percussion), Residual
Groove have established themselves as a must-see act on the live music circuit.
With a healthy mix of groovy originals & surprising covers, the band joins their
influences and creations together through tasteful segues and spontaneously
improvised segments.

From the rolling hills of Upstate New York, Will Of The People combines technical and musical with instrumental dub reggae. His deep love of roots reggae and dub was cultivated in an unlikely area largely in part by growing up with the music of Upstate NY reggae legends John Brown's Body, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, 10 Ft. Ganja Plant, Thunder Body, Mosaic Foundation and Root Shock. Will picked up drums and guitar at an early age and learned the bass and keyboard while studying audio recording at Finger Lakes Community College. After graduating, Will started collecting enough gear from pawn shops and craigslist to create his own original reggae and dub recordings. The musical recording process is documented on his social media accounts with videos that show him playing all instruments and live mixing the end result in one take. Other major influences include Pachyman, Augustus Pablo, Jackie Mittoo, King Tubby & Scratch Perry.
