About this Event
“Bainbridge Prepares’ Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Team will conduct a briefing for Islanders who own and operate fresh water wells for residential purposes.
The objective of this briefing is to increase Islanders’ water readiness by providing practical information on:
· the maintenance of residential water wells,
· improving their ability to survive major earthquakes,
· and considerations and equipment necessary to safely reactivate those wells after a substantial earthquake.
If you currently use any form of residential water well, and especially if you have someone else maintain it for you, you should attend this briefing because after the quake, you will be on your own to overcome the challenges associated with acquiring potable water.
Please forward this invitation to friends and neighbors who are not active in Bainbridge Prepares. We want to maximize actions to improve our water readiness island-wide.
