Join us every second Wednesday for live music with our Fall Resident Musician, Josh Deal. Residency concerts are meant to encourage collaboration, experimentation, and support our local blooming music scene. Music starts at 6pm, suggested donation is $15-20. Josh writes heartfelt, melody-driven folk songs rooted in honesty and emotional depth. His lyrics explore themes of family, fatherhood, love, loss, life, and death, offering listeners a raw and reflective musical experience.
Drawing inspiration from the sounds of old-time Americana, Josh incorporates instruments like the banjo, mandolin, and other acoustic staples. He seamlessly blends these traditional tones with a modern indie-folk sensibility, creating a sound that is both timeless and contemporary.
Josh Deal is a multi-instrumentalist and folk artist originally from Columbia, Missouri, now based in Fort Collins, Colorado. Known for his rich acoustic sound, he has become an integral part of the local music scene, performing with acts such as King Orchard, Nathaniel Riley, Maylight Blue, and Loggerhead.
