Reset and Rejuvenate – Yin Yoga and Sound BathSun 14th 2025, 6-8pm, Coombes Community Centre, Royston
Join me for a very special Sunday Stillness, featuring a soothing, nourishing Yin Yoga practice and a sound bath meditation, led by guest teacher Kasia, an accredited Reiki and Sound Practitioner from Cambridge.
- What is a sound bath meditation?
A sound bath is a deeply immersive, full body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to nurture your mind and body. The sounds from the singing bowls, gongs and other instruments will help balance and restore energy as well as guide you to where you need healing.
Some of the benefits of sound healing include:
– helps to clear blocked and stagnant energy within the body
– promotes a deep sense of relaxation, peace and harmony and aids sleep
– reduces stress and anxiety
– reduces physical pain, inflammation and aids your body’s natural healing process
This evening will be the perfect opportunity to practice conscious rest, something we all need...
We will attune to the transition of the upcoming Autumn Equinox, a time to invoke balance, as well as beginning to let go of the Summer season and slowly embrace the darker, cooler months.
With the slow practice of Yin Yoga, we invite the body and mind to the present moment, practising mainly floor based poses, held between 3-5 minutes which can help to soften tight muscles and targets the deep connective tissues of the body.
This special Yin class incorporates a longer savasana accompanied by the crystal bowls and the other amazing instruments. Bliss!
You’ll leave feeling rejuvenated, more present and relaxed, ready for the week ahead.
