Once a month the Museum opens up its library and records for visitors interested in local or family history. Two volunteers are on hand to help with queries.
If interested, please book in advance as places are limited. The cost is £10, payable via the website in advance. This includes permission to take photographs for personal use. If you are unable to attend and have given at least 3 days’ notice, the fee will be carried forward to a future booking.
If you would like to book for this session please do so by emailing [email protected]
The collection includes a limited amount of original records. We can’t provide access to the collection whilst the museum is open, so this is a session especially run for those who would like access. The sessions are by appointment only as numbers are limited. Please indicate the information you wish to access in the email when you book. The museum does not have public access to the internet.
We have more information on our web site at www.nidderdalemuseum.com/research/
Please like our page if you would like to know about future sessions.
We look forward to helping you with your research.
