From December 5th- 6th, the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University alongside the Centre for International Studies and Development and the Polish Ministry of Higher Education will host a two-day conference “Research and Education Security (RES)” 2024. The event will focus on the topic of security and cybersecurity in academia, aiming to answer the big question: “How can we keep our research safe?”. 💡💡💡📍The RES 2024 Conference will be a perfect opportunity to participate in thematic panel discussions approaching the topic of security, misinformation, fake news, espionage and the influence of great powers such as Russia or China on the current information climate, especially through the perspective of higher education. The conference will feature experts and academics from Europe, Asia and America, and will be a great chance to share knowledge and network with specialists in the field of cybersecurity and security.
📍The conference will be held on-site at the campus of the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków over two days (05-06.12.24). Participation in the event will be open and free for JU students and staff, aiming at promoting the discussion on the topic of security in an accessible manner.
