If you're an Open Water or Advanced Open Water diver keen to learn rescue skills; if you've ever wondered whether you're ready for Rescue Diver, or if you just want a "rescue refresher", our half-day Rescue Diver Adventure Dive ticks all those boxes. Equipment and materials are provided as needed. Topics and practical skills covered are the self-rescue skills of cramp release and alternate air source use, as well as 3 exercises from the Rescue Diver course - tired diver, panicked diver and missing diver. The missing diver exercise also introduces underwater search patterns. The Rescue Diver manual is NOT required, as all knowledge development will be instructor-led. At the instructor's discretion, the skills can be signed off against the Rescue Diver Course.Course meets at 8am for kit issue, assembly, air fills etc. Knowledge development and dive from 9am - 13:00.
Cost £45 per person. If you are an Open Water Diver, this cost is then deducted from your Advanced Open Water course. If you're an Advanced Open Water Diver, it's deducted from the Rescue Diver course!
